GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Noel Enrrique Iraheta-Ortiz, 21, was arrested late last night after allegedly trying to kick in a door to gain entrance to an apartment; he then allegedly threw paint on the windows and walls of the apartment. Deputies reportedly found marijuana and a BB gun in the backpack he was carrying.
At about 8:25 p.m. last night, an Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a call about someone trying to force entry to an apartment at the Reflections apartment complex by kicking the door and damaging it. After that failed, he allegedly threw paint on the windows and walls of the apartment exterior.
Iraheta-Ortiz reportedly fled when deputies arrived, dropping a backpack along the way. A search of the backpack reportedly produced 21.7 grams of marijuana, and a BB gun that looked like a handgun was reportedly found along the path where he fled. A search of his vehicle reportedly produced CO2 cartridges and BBs.
Post Miranda, Iraheta-Ortiz reportedly admitted that the marijuana was his and said he went to the apartment to get revenge over an incident that had occurred the previous day; he said he believed the people who attacked him the previous day were inside the apartment.
Iraheta-Ortiz has been charged with attempted armed burglary of an occupied dwelling, criminal mischief over $200, possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, and resisting arrest without violence. He has no criminal history; Judge Walter Green set bail at $25,000.

Is there a new kind of stupid pill on the street now? The crazies are out in strength here in G’ville.
No Criminal History in the US?
Reminds me of a song…”Dude looks almost like a lady…”
Hope city leaders are happy, the next Danny Rolling is probably out there.
It’s in the Cornell county limits.
BUILD THE WALL.
As a South Florida native, he looks Puerto Rican to me.
Our southern neighbor just looks crazy to me…prolly too much bath salts.
South Florida native? They need to call ICE.
Shouldn’t be assuming what he is or not n which he is def not
Gilberto: that’s what sleezy Joe needs to do all right…build that wall!
He looks too scrawny to kick in a door, must be one of those cheaply constructed apartments with one star on Yelp.
Jeff: You mean section 8, free government housing?
Perhaps in his altered mental state he was attempting his best Jackson Pollock splatter painting. Reflection at Reflections… That 25k bond from Judge Green is nice.
Sooner or later he will make that grand mistake of entering a home uninvited and realize that he brought a BB gun to a gun fight. He is a special kind of stupid.
