Man arrested for child abuse and lewd and lascivious molestation on a child

Timothy Nathaniel Johnson, 30, was arrested yesterday and charged with lewd or lascivious conduct on a victim under 12 years of age, lewd or lascivious molestation of a victim under 12 years of age, child abuse without great bodily harm, and aggravated assault.

According to the arrest report, the victim is currently 11 years old; the incidents reportedly happened in 2020 and 2021. The incidents included choking the victim, pushing the victim’s face into a mattress, pointing a loaded handgun at the victim, putting a loaded handgun into the hands of a 4-year-old child and making the 4-year-old point the gun at the victim, forcing the victim to take off his pants and underwear and then staring at him, and fondling the victim.

Jones is being held on $1,150,000 bond.
