Man arrested for damaging gas pumps on Archer Road

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Peter Ashley Thompson, 31, was arrested yesterday morning after allegedly disturbing the peace and damaging gas pumps at the Shell Station at 3330 SW Archer Road.
The responding Gainesville Police Department officer wrote that when he arrived, he found Thompson shirtless and said he “had no underwear on” while creating a disturbance that reportedly caused an employee of the gas station to withdraw into the station and lock the door out of fear.
Thompson allegedly grabbed the pole that is used to change the station’s sign and used it to hit the gas pumps, damaging two pumps and the pole. Thompson also allegedly refused to cooperate with the officer and lunged toward him before being restrained.
Thompson has been charged with property damage under $200, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. He has six felony convictions and is being held on $3,000 bail.

I don’t even go to that gas station anymore. Always trashy and there’s homeless people everywhere. With our leaders policies this city will turn into LA or San Francisco.
I heard they close the Wawa down on the east side of town @ 8pm. Is that true? The Waffle House is take out only after dark too. Why is that?
Google says it’s open from 5 AM – 10 PM. Looking online, it appears some locations in Philly (crime capital) also started closing early, in August, but all other 900+ Wawa stores are 24 hours. So, Gangsville is special and elite in that way.
It’s a good thing he didn’t accidentally get gas all over himself when he was going wild. Who knows what could have happened.
Need way more homeless bums here to beg, steal, litter, and rob. Poe, Ward, Saco, Hayes, not working hard enough to be the top sanctuary small-med city in the US. Call TX Gov ASAP to get next 20 busses full sent here. Duck pond good spot for drop off.
I bet the ducks wouldn’t last very long. There would be feathers in the garbage cans at Tom Petty Park next to the free barbecue grills.
They will bring them to that army “vehicle repair facility” they are building across from Grace Mkt…
