Man arrested for throwing rocks toward infant son

Deshawn Terrell Jones, 18, was arrested yesterday and charged with child abuse and throwing a deadly missile into a vehicle after throwing rocks into a car, knowing his infant son was inside.
According to the arrest report, Jones was arguing with the child’s mother at Bivens Arm Nature Park when he got out of the car; the child’s mother, the child, and another woman, who owned the car, remained in the car. Jones reportedly left his phone in the car and the child’s mother turned around to give it to him, but he thought she was trying to keep the phone from him, so he allegedly grabbed the front driver’s side window, which was partially down, and broke the window. The child’s mother then reportedly broke his phone.
He then allegedly started throwing rocks at the back passenger-side window, although he knew that the baby was in the back seat. The window shattered, spraying glass all over the back seat and interior of the car. None of the victims sustained any visible injuries.
Post Miranda, Jones reportedly admitted to throwing a rock through the window of the car and said he “did not care about the baby because [the woman] broke his phone.” He reportedly said he was not trying to injure anybody but just trying to damage the car. The owner of the car did not want to press charges regarding the damage to the car.
Jones has been charged with child abuse without great bodily harm and two counts of throwing a deadly missile into an occupied vehicle.

Well, If you are implying that systemic racism caused this type of behavior, then according to black racists: it’s because the enslavement of black peoples resulted in the unjust enrichment of white peoples.
