Man charged with stalking and battery after shattering sliding glass door

Liam Jared Rivera-Bonilla, 21, was arrested early this morning and charged with stalking, battery, burglary with assault or battery, and damage to property.
According to the arrest report, Rivera-Bonilla knocked on the bedroom window of a woman he formerly dated and entered her residence through the front door without permission. Once inside, he was confronted by another person in the residence, and Rivera-Bonilla allegedly tackled that person, who then pushed Rivera-Bonilla out the door and locked it.
Rivera-Bonilla then allegedly started banging on the glass door, shattering it and causing about $600 in damage. The victim said Rivera-Bonilla had been showing up uninvited at her residence for several months and knocking on the window until he was acknowledged. Officers on-scene allegedly heard Rivera-Bonilla “screaming” at the victim, and he reportedly had injuries consistent with breaking the glass door.

The victim should move someplace else ASAP. She can’t rely on anyone else, and buy a gun if she’s not a felon.
