Man on pre-trial release arrested for sending explicit photo of ex-girlfriend to her boss
Staff report
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Jacob Aaron Porter, 43, was arrested yesterday for allegedly sending an explicit photo of an ex-girlfriend to her boss.
The victim told an Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy that she didn’t know Porter had any explicit photos of her, but her manager received a text from Porter with a photo that was taken while she was asleep. She said Porter must have gotten her manager’s phone number when she was dating him.
The photo was reportedly accompanied by a message, “wish your <expletive> a happy birthday for me,” and came from a phone number that is associated with Porter in law enforcement databases.
The deputy’s investigation found that the messages were specifically sent to cause substantial emotional distress and severe professional and reputational harm to the victim.
Porter was located at his residence and taken into custody. Post Miranda, he reportedly declined to answer any questions.
Porter has been charged with sexual cyberharassment and digital voyeurism. He has nine felony convictions (three violent) and 12 misdemeanor convictions (one violent), and he has served two state prison sentences, with his most recent release in 2015. He was arrested in March 2026 for driving under the influence and refusing to submit to DUI testing and was released on $5,000 bail. Judge George Wright set bail at $100,000 on the new charges.
Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law

What A nice guy!
After two prison sentences, you’d think he’d pick up at least one life lesson — but apparently the only thing he mastered was how to sprint right back into the same garbage behavior the moment he’s out.
I hope her boss gives her a raise too……after all it appears he might have gotten one too?
