Man on probation for domestic battery arrested on charges of child abuse and domestic battery

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Josephus Benjamin Bell, 29, was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with child abuse without great bodily harm and domestic battery (repeat offender). He is on probation on a previous domestic battery charge.
Details about the new charges are unavailable, but the alleged incident happened on August 16, 2022.
Bell was previously arrested on February 28 and charged with possession of stolen bank cards, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and resisting arrest. He entered a plea of nolo contendere to the controlled substance charge and was sentenced to 120 days in the county jail; the other charges were dropped, and adjudication of guilt was withheld. A few weeks later, he was sentenced to a year of probation on the domestic battery charge, but a warrant for his arrest was issued in August after the new charges were filed and he also allegedly failed to comply with other probation conditions.
Bell has one felony conviction. Judge Thomas Jaworski set bond at $80,000 on the new charges and ordered him held without bond for violation of probation.

All of what you are staying is completely false. He is not “hood” and his mother is a Pastor. There was a man/father in the household that was a Pastor as well as brothers and sisters. This is a case of a man getting mixed up with the wrong, lying and ghetto female. There was not domestic violence nor a child involved. Just a lying and jealous female. Know your facts before you are quick to judge. Just because you read and article doesn’t mean they have all the facts either.
