March 21 evening update: 25 cases in Alachua County, 763 in Florida

According to the stateĀ dashboard, Alachua County now has 25 COVID-19-positive cases, up from 15 yesterday evening. No deaths have been reported. The average age of those who have tested positive in the county is 43.

The state has 763 cases (an increase of 200 from yesterday evening) and 12 deaths.

The dashboard now shows hospitalizations, and it says 4 people in Alachua County have been hospitalized (it said 18 this morning, so this number may be unreliable). 27 COVID-19 tests are pending. 445 people have been tested so far in Alachua County, and 393 tests have come back negative.
