Marshall Rawson clears six-figure mark in HD 10 fundraising

Press release from Marshall Rawson for Florida State House

HAMPTON, Fla. – Marshall Rawson today announced that he crossed the six-figure mark in fundraising in the race for House District 10, collecting a total of $100,102 into his campaign account and $4,550 into his political committee, Friends of Marshall Rawson. The bulk of Rawson’s financial support has come from donations from friends and allies across Florida and the district. So far, he has received a massive 419 individual contributions.

“I am honored to have the support of so many loyal friends and community members who I have worked beside on various issues for many years,” said Marshall Rawson. “They know that because of my track record, I will be a fearless and aggressive advocate on the issues that matter in Tallahassee. As the election year approaches, I am excited to continue building on the incredible momentum that we have built over the last several months. Although we still have plenty of ground to cover, I am confident our campaign will be successful on Election Day.”

Rawson is a native Floridian and owns and operates Free State Growers, an agricultural business. Previously, he served as a Washington aide and intern to Republican Congressman Paul Broun, as a legal assistant to Secretary of State Cord Byrd, and as a legal intern for the Florida Department of Agriculture. A dedicated citizen-leader, he has also been an advocate across Florida for various issues, including, but not limited to, immigration reform, state sovereignty, Florida conservation, and taxpayer advocate. Marshall is the past Chairman of the Greater Melrose Republican Liberty Caucus and currently serves as the North Florida Regional Director of the Republican Liberty Caucus. He also serves as an officer in the Florida Guard and has been deployed to the Texas border to help stop illegal immigration. He is a UF Law Grad and is a member of Grace Life Church in Lake City. Marshall and his wife, Megan, have been married for 8 years and have five children.

  • How about a list of five goals this person will have if elected? All we see are shrouds of copycat ideas that have heen talked about for years by others. He sounds like a Kat wannabe. And what is a “fearless conservative?”

    • Press releases are welcome from all candidates. Right now, because two candidates have announced for the HD 10 Republican primary, those two candidates are sending press releases.

  • My biggest concern with Republican Party of Florida is their inability to take action while holding a supermajority and full control of Florida, and their lack of support of our Governor’s agenda. Marshall can be a part of the answer to this. Big party auto endorsements shouldn’t be hereditary, and his opponent is just running on his fathers name and associations. Marshall Rawson can bring Fl GOP out of the backrooms and push for a real conservative agenda.
