Mayor Jacquelyn Randall announces candidacy for Florida House District 21

Press release from Jacquelyn Randall for State House District 21

HAWTHORNE, Fla. – Jacquelyn Randall, longtime community leader, healthcare professional, and mayor, announces her candidacy for the Florida House of Representatives in District 21. “I didn’t wake up one day searching for a new title or the next opportunity,” Randall said. “Much like when I first ran for office, I woke up recognizing a need, an opportunity to seek solutions, to serve, and to deliver real results for the people I care about.”

Randall, who has served her community as both mayor and city commissioner, says her decision to run comes from a deep belief that the solutions once out of reach for her city are now possible for the region. “What convinced me that now is the time to run for House District 21 is simple,” she continued. “The solutions I hoped for years ago are finally within reach. I am ready to deliver for every person in this district. I believe my experience, my determination, and my willingness to listen can make a real difference right now.”

Her journey into public service began when her community faced one of its toughest challenges, the possible closure of their local school. Instead of waiting for someone else to act, Randall stepped forward, helping to establish a PTA and spearheading efforts to keep the school open. “That experience changed me,” Randall said. “It taught me that resilience isn’t just personal, it’s communal. When neighbors stand up for neighbors, there is nothing we cannot overcome.”

Randall’s background in healthcare has also shaped her compassionate, people-first approach to leadership. “When you’ve held someone’s hand as they struggle to breathe or watched a family say goodbye to a loved one, you learn humility,” she reflected. “You learn that leadership decisions are never theoretical; they impact real lives. That’s why I lead with empathy, because I’ve seen firsthand how much it matters.”

Randall has seen the everyday struggles of hardworking families. “I’ve watched people do everything right and still struggle to get ahead. I’ve seen young families leave because opportunity feels out of reach, and seniors worry that they’ll be forgotten. These challenges are not inevitable; they’re solvable. But only if someone is willing to fight for people-centered solutions.”

  • Vote RED instead. Don’t need another bleeding heart liberal in office.
They have done enough damage already.
