By Friday, we can expect to see droves of self-styled small government, anti-welfare-state conservatives in the Big Bend area holding out their hands for FEMA recovery assistance and funding…. the rich hypocrisy of red counties impacted by entirely predictable natural disasters never disappoints.
GO BLUE TEAM!
BEAT RED TEAM!
DURRRRRRRRR [drooooool ]
Thank God we have people like this guy condescending in the face of natural disaster. Thanks for staying true to the party that gives a zero sum value to life.
The fact that ANYONE would turn this into some weird tribal political argument is just nuts.
It’s the power of propaganda.
With a comment like that I’m guessing you believe weather has a choice of areas to impact. Here’s a news flash, unlike voters, it doesn’t. Here’s another news flash, the people inhabiting the corners of many intersections in Gainesville probably aren’t those “rich inhabitants” but more likely the Democrat voters who failed to understand the effects of those they voted for.
May want to reconsider your choices of local idiots you want increasing taxes and utility rates for their misguided personal agendas.
Insurance companies are laughing all the way to the bank. I bet they are submitting rate increases double time as this storm approaches.
