According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), foggy conditions led to an accident at 6:00 a.m. today that caused the temporary closure of all southbound lanes on U.S. 441 at NW 202nd Street.
FHP said that a northbound semi pulling a trailer was in the process of making a u-turn on U.S. 441 when a southbound pickup driven by a Fort White man hit the semi’s trailer. The driver of the pickup was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the semi was not injured in the crash.
Time for wind turbines to blow the fog away. Better idea – let’s put the city and county blowhards in areas more prone to foggy conditions.
