Motorcyclist killed on SW 13th Street

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – At approximately 11:35 p.m. Tuesday night, GPD officers responded to the area of SW 13th Street and SW 14th Drive in regards to a traffic crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle. The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and died this morning from his injuries.

Yesterday there was a young man on Archer Rd in front of Butter Plaza riding In and out of traffic and on one wheel….at 11am….
If they were like half of the ones I see riding on one wheel, bobbing and weaving through traffic…good riddance. Hope they had a good time on that highway to wherever it leads.
Gainesville is becoming a magnet for those types…39th, Main, and 6th have them practically every day. They go with reckless abandon down the streets and there’s nothing being done.
What’s that, 3 or 4 in two weeks? Maybe city leaders should ban motorcycles.
