Motorists should expect lane closures on the Hatchet Creek Bridge on Feb. 19

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. –  Lane closures on State Road 26 at the Hatchet Creek Bridge are planned from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19, to allow for the delivery of permanent piles that will be installed as part of the bridge improvements.

Beginning the week of Feb. 23 and continuing for approximately four weeks, motorists should expect intermittent daytime lane closures in the area. No detours are planned. Drivers are encouraged to use caution and allow extra time for their commute.
