MPACT Ministries presents Zach Williams and Tim Tebow for the “Break The Chains Through Grace Experience” on Sept. 5 at the O’Connell Center

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Join MPACT Ministries on Thursday, September 5, for the BREAK THE CHAINS THROUGH GRACE EXPERIENCE featuring two-time Grammy award winner Zach Williams and Florida Gator Legend Tim Tebow at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center on the University of Florida Campus.

This will be an evening of worship and inspiration, with a message of love, hope, and God’s grace highlighting the importance of persevering in Christ through life’s challenges for all students, families, local churches, area youth. and high school organizations to enjoy.

“The focus of MPACT Ministries is to help people everywhere discover God’s grace so we can overcome our thorns in life through Christ,” says MPACT Founder Trey Etheridge. “I started MPACT – Men Passionate About Christ, after my experience with depression and suicide during some key trials in my life. I also lost friends that took their own lives, all without me or anyone else knowing the chains they were dealing with. I wanted to create an atmosphere of grace so we can come together to share and confess the thorns that are affecting us, in order to heal and move forward through genuine Christian brotherhood and the Holy Spirit.

“What started in 2016 with four men in my living room has been transformed to include several ministry platforms spreading MPACT’s mission to men, women, and families worldwide through groups, conferences, podcasts, and devotionals. The Grace for Man Worship Experiences began in 2022 in Melbourne, Florida. The motivation for a college campus experience started last December when a man came to Etheridge with concerns for his daughter regarding her depression, anxiety symptoms, and identity concerns.”

“Depression and suicide rates are going through the roof with our children. Especially our teenagers and college students. Two-thirds of Christian youth walk away from their faith or the church when they turn 18,” Etheridge says. “The Lord put it on my heart to put this college campus experience together and bring this message of grace, healing, and perseverance to students and families in central Florida.”

Etheridge said MPACT is thrilled that Zach Williams and Tim Tebow will be joining them for the Break The Chains Through Grace Experience on the Gator campus. “Zach’s testimony and songs of overcoming major setbacks in his life through Christ is a perfect description of MPACT’s mission every day,” he said. “Plus, there’s not a better-known Christian athlete who communicates his faith like Tim Tebow. We can’t wait for this powerful night that is sure to touch many!”
