Who was drunk?
There is not enough information here to make any judgements, yet.
Fire truck had lights siren on Florida law requires you to move over and stop for any emergency vehicle plenty of information to make a judgment
That is 60mp/h street, depending on how the truck was leaving and how the crash happened there is not enough time to react.
Course you are always suppose to Yield to emergency vehicles with sirens and lights on. However, emergency service vehicles must drive with due regard for the safety of those around it.
If the car struck the truck entering the lane without this regard the truck is responsible because it should not have proceed entering a 60mph lane at 2am unless they were certain the coast was clear. Also there is nothing indicating a DUI, it could’ve been an Uber for all that matter.
What kind of idiot was driving that car?
An impaired one? Whether blind, deaf, distracted or driving under the influence.
Hard to miss a moving 40 ft Christmas tree with sirens blasting…or it should be.
Again,
Yeah, you are always suppose to Yield to emergency vehicles with sirens and lights on. However, emergency service vehicles must drive with due regard for the safety of those around it.
Fire truck should not enter a lane or cross a red light unless they are certain the coast is clear.
