New map: Detour scheduled for Waldo railroad crossing on during the week of Aug. 19

WALDO, Fla. – During the week of Aug. 19, the CSX railroad crossing on NE State Road 26 adjacent to U.S. 301 will be closed for reconstruction. Construction will begin at 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, and is expected to continue through the week. The road is scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.

Drivers on NE State Road 26 wishing to access NE State Road 26 west of the railroad crossing will take westbound State Road 26 to NE State Road 26.  Drivers on NE State Road 26 who wish to access NE State Road 26 east of the railroad crossing, including access to U.S. 301, will take eastbound State Road 26 to NE State Road 26. Detour routes are shown in the map above.
