Nine people arrested at UF protest

Staff report

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Nine people were arrested last night on the University of Florida campus for offenses ranging from trespassing to battery on a law enforcement officer; most were charged with failure to obey a police officer, resisting an officer without violence, and wearing a hood or mask on public property.

The third charge comes from Florida Statute 876.13, which reads, “No person or persons shall in this state, while wearing any mask, hood, or device whereby any portion of the face is so hidden, concealed, or covered as to conceal the identity of the wearer, enter upon, or be, or appear upon or within the public property of any municipality or county of the state.” Florida Statute 876.155 specifies that this charge is applicable “While she or he was engaged in conduct that could reasonably lead to the institution of a civil or criminal proceeding against her or him, with the intent of avoiding identification in such a proceeding.”

Keely Nicole Gliwa

Keely Nicole Gliwa, 23, was actively protesting and allegedly failed to obey a command from UFPD to disperse; she was also allegedly covering her face and concealing her identity. She was arrested by FHP and has been charged with failure to obey an officer, wearing a mask on public property, and resisting an officer without violence, all misdemeanors. Parker Stanley Hovis

Parker Stanley Hovis, 26, allegedly ignored an order to disperse. According to the arrest report, he was asked if he was getting up to leave and refused to acknowledge the officer’s presence. He was told he would be charged with trespassing but allegedly refused to leave. He was arrested by UFPD and charged with trespassing, a misdemeanor.

According to his LinkedIn profile, he expects to graduate with a Computer Science degree from UF in December; he previously earned Associate’s degrees at Florida Southwestern State College. He most recently worked as an Infrastructure Administrator at Lee Health in Fort Myers.

According to court documents, Hovis refused to provide information about how long he has been in the area or where he works. He has no criminal history, and Judge Miller-Jones ordered him released on his own recognizance.

Charly Keanu Pringle

Charly Keanu Pringle, 21, allegedly ignored an order to move so that officers could arrest three other people; she allegedly chained her arms with other people in an attempt to prevent the arrests. When a UFPD officer tried to handcuff her, Pringle allegedly pulled away and tensed her arms. She also allegedly tensed up and pulled away from the officer multiple times while she was being escorted to the processing arrest area. She has been charged with trespassing and resisting without violence, both misdemeanors.

Pringle was evicted from an apartment in Gainesville in January 2023 for failing to pay rent.

According to court documents, Pringle has been in the area for about three years and has worked for both Amazon and Santa Fe College for two years. She has no criminal history, and Judge Miller-Jones ordered her released on her own recognizance.

Statement from University of Florida

In a statement released to the media last night, UF Spokesman Steve Orlando wrote, “This is not complicated: The University of Florida is not a daycare, and we do not treat protesters like children — they knew the rules, they broke the rules, and they’ll face the consequences. For many days, we have patiently told protesters — many of whom are outside agitators — that they were able to exercise their right to free speech and free assembly. And we also told them that clearly prohibited activities would result in a trespassing order from UPD (barring them from all university properties for three years) and an interim suspension from the university. For days UPD patiently and consistently reiterated the rules. Today, individuals who refused to comply were arrested after UPD gave multiple warnings and multiple opportunities to comply.”

  • I’m 65. Any male my age or younger benefited from the student protests on college campuses in 1960s and 70s by virtue of not being subject to the draft. These kids show there’s hope for America yet.

    • You benefitted more from those of us who did serve, and provided you that right.

All gave some, many gave all.
They gave far more than this bunch.

      • There’s nine idiots who aren’t willing to sacrifice anyone but another person for their own rights – they’re self-centered and selfish, despite what they claim. Maybe it’s the 9 who got arrested!🤣🤣

That’s just something else that’s concerning about this country.

    • Protesting a draft is a lot different than protesting for the killing of Jewish people and supporting terrorism.

    • Hope?🤣🤮😭🤮🤣
Concern and hopelessness would be more appropriate.

You sound just like those who’ve been instrumental in indoctrinating this group and others around the country. I’m sure Hamas will accept your contribution, they’re running out of people.

    • First thanks for being a Coward. Many soldiers died or maimed while you hid. No, I don’t believe in war. But that is why people vote. These fools are probably your grandchildren. There are many ways to serve this great country, I chose to serve in the military. I am a Proud Veteran.

    • I am 60 ….. just by virtue of reading your comment, I can tell you are an idiot. I served so your coward butt didn’t have to and I tried to re-enlist at the beginning of Desert Storm because I knew there were people like you that would cower from the fight. For those that served, Thank you for risking all for those that have no backbone.

  • I’m gonna guess over half of these folks have no affiliation with UF at all? Paid professional agitators? (Yes, it’s a thing)

    • I had the same feeling looking at them.

I have no problem with a peaceful protest.

But they have picked the wrong group to align with.

      They are totally misguided.

    • According to the details in the article, seven of the nine are UF students.

    • J you don’t even read the article before you comment do you every one of them is either a student or graduated from UF or goes to school at Santa Fe college

  • I guess the law about masks And hoods doesn’t apply to Nazi and kran rallyse

    • Both of which are far left groups; one German, the other US Democrats.

    • You won the award of idiot of the day by a land slide. Congratulations.

  • Put ’em all on a plane to Gaza and let them protest over there. I hear Hamas is needing some conscripts since they’re losing lots of terrorists. These people should at least put some skin in the game.
Just a heads up – Iran did just outlaw homosexuality; try protesting that.

    • Sure. Send them to a war-torn country because you don’t like their opinion or their protest stance. That sounds like the perfect way to Make American Great Again. /s

      • I’m saying they should put their money where their mouths are.
The only reason they do it over here is because they can get away with it. These same students go all over the world on Spring Break but they don’t go “volunteer” for these causes and they sure don’t go over to Middle Eastern countries and protest for women’s rights. Why is that?
The United States of America is sooo bad – sure doesn’t stop people from wanting to get here and it sure isn’t making many leave.

        • My friend, the reason that people protest over here is that we’re a free country that believes in allowing folks the right to speak their minds about what the country is doing via the First Amendment.

I don’t necessarily agree with these protesters’ actions (and definitely not with some of their hair color choices), but having freedom of speech as a foundational pillar of our society means that the people I don’t agree with get to say their piece too, and I’m OK with that.

I’m not saying this is you, but lots of folks on both sides of the political aisle these days seem to only want to allow speech with which they personally agree and to hell with everyone else’s views. I can certainly understand why they might feel like that, but as a proud American myself, I can’t support it.

    • Proud to have this as our future, rather than the broken world your generation created. Wake up, the left and right politicians are both screwing ya!

      • Gee whiz…what would you do without that cellphone.
        Our generation brought you that.

      • you are proof that the education system has failed ever since the federal government took control. Prior to that control, we were putting men in space, and creating all the creature comforts you take for granted today.

      • You are correct, however, no one screws/craps on America and Americans worse than entitled, good for very little leftists! The trash in this article will do nothing other than destroy America if they have their way!!

          • How about the burl loot murder throughout the summer of thug!
2 billion in theft and damage
            18 murdered!

    • Uhhh, pretty accomplished group Real.

Given the knee jerk reaction so far – and I oppose the assumed goals of these students – with DESantis trying to outlaw groups based on their positions, not their actions, and the possible vagueness of the charges as well as the rules UF issued, this seems much ado about nothing. No tent city, disruptions, threats of violence, and despite the idiotic statement from Orlando about outside agitators – only 1 of these was not a student – and the fact none of them had a record, this looks like more knee jerk BS and political theater than a valid police action. DeSantis and Sasse claim a fealty to free speech, but not apparently for those they disagree with.

  • I can almost guarantee that none of these Chuckleheads know anything about what they are protesting except that someone told t hr em to show up. I have spoken to several and they have no idea where Gaza is, what Sea or what River they are chanting for. At least UF is doing the right thing. If any of the dumba– name are UF students they get suspended for three years. Segal just blew her little goal of graduating from college in 2026 out of the water. Maybe they can get Jobs as city ambassador in Gaza

  • I seriously doubt that any of these agitators even know the honest history of the area, the Palestinian history, or about Hamas or Hezbollah. You know, what they are protesting about.

    • How do you know that, Roger?

Oh, that’s right, because you know everything. I forgot.

      • One thing is for sure… they wouldn’t be running their sucks in Gaza or any other Muslim country! They women would not have that freedom! The Gaza scum would terminate these “geniuses”

    • It’s clear you have NO IDEA about the history of Palestine and Israel. Here’s a hint, start at the year 1947 and work your way up.

      • That’s like saying “look at America’s history starting with the Korean War, the stuff that happened before wasn’t important or relevant.”

  • And they look exactly like I’d expect them to: weak and ugly. Leftists are by nature ugly people, full with envy of those who are more attractive and more successful.

    • Uh, pretty average group with a couple having near movie star features, others not so hot.

Hey, a couple of names for you and your ugly leftists theory – Scarlett Johanson, Susan Sarandon, AOC, 3 out of 4 Hollywood starlets vs Kat, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Trump.

      • Wow, 7 commenters so far think Kat and MTG are hot and would kick Scarlett out of bed for eating crackers! Of course we knew they’d swoon for Trump. Probably have the poster of him shirtless with an AR15.

      • All 3 are disgustingly gross! One can smell the stink on a leftist a mile away! Let’s go with the Fox ladies vs madcow, Whoopie, that red head tu..rd on the view… any of the trash holding gubment office in Alachua County!

        • Thanks for taking the bait dumb a.. but looks have nothing to do with political opinions, nor should they on how we judge peoples acts and opinions, or if it did, you lose.

          • I didn’t lose anything, I couldn’t care less what you left wing thugs think of me, I detest you and your ilk!

  • The Controlled Demolition of America.

So long as Republicans remain dedicated to prolonging the war in Israel/Palestine and the Democrats remain dedicated to prolonging the war in Russia/Ukraine….

    Isn’t that the whole point?

Both wings of partisan politics are hell bent on keeping these two fabricated wars going in perpetuity…or at least until the China/Taiwan brawl kicks off…it boggles my mind that so many have such strong feelings, on both sides, about foreign-for-profit-wars but remain completely vapid about fixing any issues here at home. The billions of dollars being sent to foreign nations and corporations is absolutely ridiculous but yet all everyone does is bitch about which war is more legitimate and which party is more corrupt! Wake up and notice that the “uni-party” is marching like mad men straight towards their common goal

    • Yeah, I guess Putin and Hamas are in on the profiteering with Dow and Raytheon.

      • It’s about resources, Jazzman. Taking control of resources. So please don’t start with your ‘saving worldwide democracy’ crap. Whether it be the fertile lands of Ukraine or the oil-laden areas all throughout the Middle East (ie Golan Heights). War’s a racket and you just so happen to eat their propaganda hook, line and sinker.

        • Is someone alleging that Putin invaded the Ukraine to “save democracy”? You get that he started it, right, or is that – like the moon landing and covid – BS for the rubes that only obvious geniuses like you are on to? So, if someone starts a war to grab acres or enslave the locals, you’re in favor of letting them take it and will remain protected because they’ll be able to tell your hip and onto their game? Help me out on how this works.

          • The State Department and CIA successfully ran a coup in 2014 in Ukraine. That allowed a new puppet regime to be installed. That is what truly started this whole thing.

Yea, Russia did invade Ukraine a couple of years ago but you cannot just completely discount the previous ten years of this boiling conflict. Victoria Kagan Nuland was the point guard for the US State Dept. Look her up and stop parroting MSNBC

          • Bumbling by the State Department and CIA had little to do with the underlying issue in that region. Putin has been working to absorb neighboring republics and restore his memory of the glory of the USSR since the day he took power.

          • That is just not true. First off the 2014 Ukrainian color revolution wasn’t bumbled – it was a major success. Secondly, I love America and Americans but I’m not about to just lay down and believe every lie that our government and military spurts. I’ll also never go to bat for Russia, or ‘Putin’ as you propagandistically call the country. But I am able to assess issues without national or political glasses on and it’s obvious to me that the Western countries are the aggressors this time. Do you remember the post Cold War agreement for NATO to not move one inch eastward?…and who broke the agreement? Do you really not think the hundreds of billions of dollars would be better spent here at home instead of helping the EU by proxy to shore up their total lack of usable farmland and oil/gas/energy resources? If you want to save Europe then move your ass over there and do something worthwhile instead of just promoting bleeding us Americans dry generation by generation

            https://nsarchive.gwu.edu/briefing-book/russia-programs/2017-12-12/nato-expansion-what-gorbachev-heard-western-leaders-early

          • Slice, the “coup” – that was Russia’s characterization of the legal removal of it’s stooge by an overwhelming vote of the Ukrainian Parliament – was based on the refusal of the president to sign a free trade agreement and closer alignment to the EU, choosing instead to join an alliance with Russia. The EU agreement was passed overwhelmingly by the Parliament with similar popular support.

Maybe aligning with and trading with western Europe seems not as good to you as becoming Putin’s bitch – a role you do your best to modestly fulfill here, like your fellow travelers Kat and Trump – but the Ukrainians did not see it that way.

Stop the Blame America First game.

I don’t watch MSNBC. I read the NYTs, WaPo, The Economist, The Gainesville Sun, the Alachua Chronicle, and sometimes slum it at Reason and various Substack cranks like Taibbi and Geenwald. I’m not afraid to read counter arguments.

          • You’ve never seen a war you didn’t support have you? What a shame…does the depopulation or the corporate economic benefits turn you on more?

..Characterize it however you want but the US still planned and executed the removal of the old and installation of the new Ukrainian government. All because Ukraine was going to economically align with Russia and not the EU. The EU has minimal natural resources…Thus a regime change was needed in order to have any chance of penning a trade agreement with the EU.

You would probably be better off if you read books instead of those websites. Check out John Perkins’ Confession of an Economic Hitman. He used to manage takedowns of existing foreign governments and has written extensively on how to do it. It isn’t a conspiracy theory…it’s just a conspiracy

And no, I’m not a fan of Kat or Trump or Rubio or Scott or whoever else you try to build a partisan wedge with. Your Democrat drones in office are even worse btw. Screw both of the parties and the divide and conquer tactics that they’re built on.

And no, I will not “Stop the Blame America First game” right now because our govt is literally the one planning, arming and financing foreign wars while our country crumbles like a second world nation…it’s obvious that there is nothing more you’d like to see than a total American collapse just to guarantee that your global governance wet dream comes true.

          • Yeah, I’ll start with VN and Iraq – wars I opposed early and still – how about you?

Yeah Dude, you are Putin’s bitch and play it here again. Read my lips! The Ukrainian Parliament overwhelmingly voted the EU agreement – your opinion on this is both stupid and Putin-talk – and then overwhelmingly voted to throw out the president and they were overwhelmingly supported by the people of Ukraine who still feel the same way about aligning with western Europe vs Russia.

            Stop blaming America 1st.

  • So grateful for these students! Thank you for your sacrifice. Keep fighting, free Palestine!

    • You got that right! Free Palestine from the tyranny and terror of the Hamas leadership they elected to rule over them. Wipe Hamas from the face of the Earth, make sure they never have the opportunity to propagate again.

    • Any call for ceasefire should include appeals to both sides to desist and for Hamas – who is defeated and just hiding out behind the skirts of Palestinian mothers – to come out with their hands up. Israel did no start this war and is not now the sole perpetrator.

  • Old people commenting on this are so insecure it’s insane. Just because you don’t know where Gaza is doesn’t mean we’re idiots too. We have better education, access to a lot more information than you ever had access to at our age, but you still think we’re dumb. Meanwhile y’all were the ones who literally raised us. When will you realize you’re just projecting?

    • There’s no thinking it. I’m just surprised you’re so easily manipulated given as how your parents didn’t have much impact on your life…at least not a good one.

    • You summed yourself up in your name “Dumb Liberal.” You have no idea of what is or means. You will not get t hff at from the internet. You have to live it, suffer in it, love it, and proceed in life to get it. I didn’t raise any liberals and never will. My kids understand there are no do-overs, no quiting because it’s too hard, or throwing your lolly pop in the dirt because your feelings are hurt.

      • ( corrected) You summed yourself up in your name “Dumb Liberal.” You have no idea of what life is or means. You will not get life experience from the internet. You have to live it, suffer in it, love it, and proceed in life to understand to it. You do not get life experience from going to a college. I didn’t raise any liberals and never will. My kids understand there are no do-overs, no quiting because it’s too hard, or throwing your lolly pop in the dirt because your feelings are hurt. Maybe by the time you are 40 you might have a clue.

    • You “geniuses” whom need other peoples income to pay for your pathetic lives! You actually believe you are smart! It is you “geniuses” that will destroy America with you entitled and pathetic beliefs! It’s not”protection” it’s facts that you can not handle! You “geniuses” would be executed by hamas!

  • Love the double standard. I will use Columbia University. If a group of Trump supports broke in a University Building the liberal left would be screaming Insurrection. They would want them all jailed and hung just like on Jan 6th. Now a group of people who have broken into a building, erected another country’s flag on the building and are refusing to leave until the USA meets the demands of a group/country that is ruled by terrorists is called a protest and freedom of speech. UF and others universities like them have got it right. Hook and Book. No baby sitting, no kissing boo-boos, no saying sorry for hurting these people’s tender feelings.

  • Let them try to get their degrees somewhere else, but not in Florida

  • The majority of them have what most would consider “dead-end” degrees.
No wonder they’re liberal, chances are they won’t get a job that will pay them enough to pay their tuitions and are looking for Joe to forgive them. Here’s hoping that idiot who was charged with a felony never gets to exercise at least 2 of his Constitutional Rights; the Right to vote and the right to bear arms.

Future for these United States of America isn’t looking too bright.

    • ??? Yeah mechanical engineering and a masters in bio-chemistry are kind of like French Poetry.

WTF is wrong with you? Only one is studying poli-sci (probably DeSantis’s major, but of course he’s never had a real job).

      • Sure knucklehead, I said the majority. Go hammer some nails with that thick skull of yours.
It’s easy to determine WTF is wrong with you.

        • So along with the mech-engineer and micro-biologist, an economics major, international/global affairs, and a masters in fine arts by the Hollywood looks guy with a national competition title are all losers, unlike …..cough, cough…..you. Yeah 1 poli-sci major who actually has had a job, and that’s often a pre-law major. No criminal records.

At random a pretty good group, smart enough to get in UF, and almost certainly better company than you.

          • Thanks for making my point.
They’d definitely be more likely to welcome your company.
What’s the old Proverb? “Whoever keeps company with the wise becomes wise, but the company of fools shall smart for it.”

I would guess you hanging out with them wouldn’t be of much benefit to anyone.

      • Always flinging lies to see where they stick! DeSantis is a lawyer and ex military! He served in Iraq, awarded a Bronze Star, (what do you have besides shi* for brains)?

        • Made payroll for 40+ years while building real things that last, not mountains of paper. And you?

All those DeSantis jobs were government gigs. He’s never worked in the private sector except for a year as a private school teacher before law school. He majored in History, 1/2 step above Poli-sci.

But hey, he thinks he’s smart enough to try and take over Disney, the cruise ship industry, and my little company with his BS edicts.

          • DeSantis served while in the military! POS46 received multiple deferments due being a pathetic waste!
Biden has never been anything other than a white trash, taxpayer dependent leech! His entire pathetic life has been nothing other than serving his white trash family while screwing America and Americans!

      • So 5 commenters so far agree with you voted that micro-biology and mechanical engineering are crib majors for those who don’t want to do homework and won’t be able to get a job.

This is a dumb a.. group.

        • All government jobs, government checks. Fine, but he knows nothing about business while acting like he does. That free-state of Florida line? He has forced numerous businesses – including mine – to act in ways he sees as ideological PC and the hell with customers, planning, autonomy, and profits.

          • Me? I served many years, decades, keeping our troops alive! Worked budgets designed to enable support of our military members! Built the knowledge base of hundreds of fighting Americans in order to enhance their ability to stay alive fighting those deemed enemies of the United States; sadly, often done by politicians who knew nothing of the true cost of being the worlds’ policeman! Republicans and Democrats alike!

Back to your comment: Are you talking about FJB? The ultimate government employee? On the taxpayers’ payroll (since 1972) longer than almost all the other political leeches in DC! And his college major(s)? History and political science! Hmm? Then he became a lawyer! Somewhere along the way, he managed to stay in college long enough to be issued a student waiver for military service for 5 years! Gee! I don’t see anywhere in his bio where he obtained any experience in running anything other than his mouth! Check it out here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_life_and_career_of_Joe_Biden

          • You are correct – Biden and DeSantis have the same amount of private business experience – almost none. Bur Biden doesn’t punish businesses for what their owners say about politics, didn’t try to force cruise ships to take on covid patients, or force me during the height of the outbreak, to send maskless unvaccinated employees into clients homes for service or remodeling work. In fact, Biden’s infrastructure bill is sending more benefits to red states and counties than blue ones because he isn’t a petty jerk like our governor. At this moment it is funding fiber optic cable to rural areas west of here.

          • Wow! Pos46 didn’t write the wasteful infrastructure I’ll, the pos simply signed legislation that the left wing scum in congress wrote!
No, biden like all left wing trash punish businesses for being successful!
As for DeSantis, you people might own Alachua county, we own the state! You anti American leftist should strongly consider leaving the great RED state of Florida! You wouldn’t be missed!

      • Hilarious coming from a Biden voter! DeSantis SERVED the USA unlike pos46 or Trump! Biden never served anyone other than his white trash family!

  • They clearly state most of the protesters are “outside agitators” which a nice way of saying ANTIFA

      • UF is lying? I thought LinkedIn profiles are created by the user, not the college.
Here’s what some seem unwilling to acknowledge,…UF Spokesman Steve Orlando wrote, “This is not complicated: The University of Florida is not a daycare, and we do not treat protesters like children — they knew the rules, they broke the rules, and they’ll face the consequences.”
What did you do with your employees or children who disobeyed your rules?
People have choices, they made theirs.

        • He lied about outside agitators, which this arrested group are not. Only 1 is not a student, none have records.

The charges – absent reported disruption – are vague, as were some of the rules – not all of them – that UF put out. Based on DeSantis’s and Sasse’s initial reactions a few weeks ago, political posturing is the default attitude of those in charge at UF and there appears little respect for 1st amendment rights – DeSantis tried to bar pro-Palestinian groups from campus. IF the arrested students violated valid rules, not ticky tacky BS ones, the hell with them . I have stated numerous times that I don’t agree with their cause. But they have a right to express their opinion freely in America and hopefully on the campus of the state’s flagship university. Some of us take pride not just in it’s sport’s programs, outstanding research programs, excellent professional schools, and resources like it’s massive library, but in it maintaining stature as a fair and honorable world class institution.

          • UF never said the people arrested were outside agitators: “For many days, we have patiently told protesters — many of whom are outside agitators”

Perhaps the outside agitators were smart enough to disperse when told to.

          • Must have misinterpreted your, “They are abut 1 UF students. Why is UF lying about this” question.
Some are students and some appear to be in transition, one is homeless(?) due to an eviction. Hope she didn’t take a day off from work for this stunt. Arguably all of them are confused.

I didn’t get a copy of the “rules.” Don’t know if they’re valid or not. What I can conclude from UF’s statement is that rules were set in place from the governing authority, (University of Florida), and this group decided they didn’t want to follow them.

All people have the right to protest – just not at the expense of my being able to exercise mine. If I need to go to work, or better yet, get to a hospital by crossing a bridge and they choose to block the bridge and prevent my right to get to my destination – they should suffer consequences. If this country, and most would argue, is founded on “equal rights,” their right to protest doesn’t trump other’s rights.

          • Here are the rules. “No disruption” especially is too vague and “No littering” a bit much to be suspended for. An agitated police officer could arrest almost anyone under those.

            No amplified sound
            No demonstrations inside buildings
            No littering
            No sleeping
            No unmanned signs
            No blocking ingress/egress
No building of structures (chairs, stakes, benches, tables)
No camping, including tents, sleeping bags, pillows, etc.
            No disruption
            No threats
            No violence
            No weapons
Any other items and/or activities deemed to be non-compliant with policy and regulations by university officials.

          • Wow! Maybe the City should implement some of those rules on the panhandlers. I digress…

Agreed, some may be too subjective but then again, if you told your employees not to be late to work, what’s the definition of late.
No amplified sound – no blow horns.
No demonstrations inside buildings – self-explanatory.
No littering – contrary to what the city and county allow from the homeless population; again – self-explanatory.
No blocking – my stance on that already noted.
            The rest noted of course.

  • One of the vital conundrums of our age is whether this dysgenic horde–so uniform in beliefs and looks–is this way because they simply couldn’t be any other way, trapped to conform to the shallowest of gene pools and foulest of received opinion or if it is just their worthless broken souls rising to the surface.
Physiognomy is destiny, it seems, and the proof keeps rearing its ugly head.

  • If their cause was virtuous, there would be no need to wear a mask‼️

The judge should have ordered a $10,000 bond each to have made this a learning experience.

  • Throw the book at these freaks. Expel or deport them. Let them sit in a jail cell for a good while. Don’t coddle them

  • Hopefully ALL of them have now been expelled, fired from their jobs and trespassed for 3 years from campus as they were warned would happen.
You see boys and girls there are these things called CONSEQUENCES and you are all about to learn about this the HARD way.

  • If these adult really believe in what they are doing and they want to do this then load them up and ship them out to these countries give them a survival pack Let them go!

  • Why so many of these thugs released without bail? Even the one who refused to answer the judge’s questions. Throw them in JAIL!

  • They should be expelled and the University should revoke all scholarships and refund any grant money back to funding agency. I bet these kids parents are thrilled and proud. I would go as far as blaming the University for this…. the professors sow the seeds for these types of protests.

  • Guess it’s only a free country when they’re protesting what the government wants them to. These kids are the start of a revolution. KEEP USING YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!

  • Imagine throwing your whole life away for some third world idiots that would kill you immediately if you went over there. Clowns. 😂
