Regardless of who the next Chief is, nothing will improve without dramatic change to the City Commission. They have made this town into a crime mecca and killed the golden goose (GRU).
They can’t even make a good decision by accident and they never met a bad idea they didn’t like. Thanks to university influence on local politics we all get to see this canary in the coal mine for the rest of our nation. Whoever next Chief is better meet media standard for them to say “First Police Chief that is FILL IN THE BLANK”.
