What a waste of money.
You want to end homelessness
Well start with school. More economic classes. Show gets just because your parents are losers you don’t have to be. And sports is not the answer. Achieving success in sports is only for a very few. Hold parents accountable if children are not attending school. Provide financial classes for parents. We all can’t afford to live at Haile, but we can be happy where we are and help our children and family. And teach kids minimum wage is not meant to live on. The homeless need to get a job and drug tested. If they want help.
I pay every month to prevent homelessness….my own. Worked two or three jobs most of my life to provide for my family and their shelter. Why can’t the homeless drug addicted criminals get at least one job? Stop paying and feeding them and they will go away.
We have a crisis of homeless.
So let’s get together in TWO MONTHS to TALK about it.
Worthless.
We welcome a town hall meeting for the public’s opinion of the homeless in Alachua County….. 😆
For me, it’s the simple logic presented in the “offer” suggested in the article. 🤣
So, what the CoC is offering here,,,
is to meet and get opinions from the working class and employed folks, about those who choose to remain “unemployed”…..
I cannot believe what I’m reading here….
This is friekin hilarious to me!!!
🤣
I hope the CoC has a grand “town hall” meeting!
I hope there is coffee and doughnuts, and I hope many many working class folks show up in support of the homeless. 😆
I’d love to be a fly on the wall for that! 😜
These kinds of organizations, and their advertising never fail to amuse me. 🤣
The organization was started quite a few years ago by the Ft Lauderdale Chief of Police, who remains active in it. Maybe those here who think the solution to the national problem of homelessness is telling us the secret to their success should go to one of the meetings and enlighten others there with their easy answer – save everyone a lot of time and effort. I know I can’t get enough of Think About It’s and lou’s strategy for successful living, and one assumes with similar disorders exhibited by most homeless persons.
