“Now all we need is a fleet of semis”

BY JAKE FULLER

  • They’re hell bent on repeating California right here 🤡👹💩🍦🍦🍦D

  • Make sure the semis are EV too! That way when they get across country they won’t be able to recharge the batteries and return.

Thanks Jake! Always appropriate to our current environment and more than than, much appreciated.

  • I also thought all of those tents on the sidewalks on SE 4th place were removed a two weeks ago according to the news. As of 3/7 they were still there as if they never moved. The sidewalks were packed with tents on both sides of the street.

    • That’s the line waiting for the free tiny houses. It’s like the Black Friday lines at various businesses.
Wonder if it’ll be a commissioner or the mayor who has a stroke first once the new “camping” law goes into effect? It’ll be interesting to see how many of the commissioners and/or their constituents show up to offer temporary rooms in their homes for some of the less fortunate too.

  • @YoursTruly — As long as they’re not bothering the businesses downtown then it’s all good, right? That’s all the county commissioners seem to care about! Screw the rest of us! Someone should pass out flyers with Cornell’s and Alford’s addresses. When they have tents in their neighborhoods maybe they’ll finally understand.

  • Make the trucks one-way rentals with a refrigerated trailer to comfort the passengers.

  • Perhaps the city and county commissions could temporarily hold their meetings in these containers ,,,, then hook up the trucks and ship them out of town, too.

  • Those shipping containers are designed to go on barges. Bon voyage, guys!

  • Rental moving trucks are practically “free” going from FL to the Left Coast. Let’s take advantage of that!
