One person in critical condition after rollover on SW Depot Avenue

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – One person was transported to a hospital this morning in critical condition after a rollover accident at SW 11th Street and SW Depot Avenue.
The accident involved a single vehicle and required extrication by Gainesville Fire Rescue before the driver could be transported to the hospital.
Officers on the scene hinted speed may have been a factor.

Sorry about the victim. Unfortunately, the roundabout at the west start of depot road is not particularly round–one has to be prepared for it even at slow speed. To be charitable, I’d call the intersection “pleasingly plump.”
It’s the Peanut circle there. So many new residents coming they better not be distracted drivers.
