One person was fatally injured Sunday in an early morning accident on NW 13th Street.
According to Gainesville Police Department, a vehicle drove out of the parking lot at 2400 NW 13th Street at about 2:50 a.m. heading northbound, struck the curb/median, and landed on its side. The driver died of injuries suffered in the accident.
obviously this is the fault of the street! So “calming” must be implemented ASAP! Make all of 13th St a “complete” street with wide sidewalks, bike lanes & lots of landscaping! But reducing it to a single lane of traffic with plenty of speed-tables & traffic-circles with a 20 mph speed-limit like UF Campus! Make 13th St more of a nightmare for motorists than it currently is! Tell people to take RTS, bike or walk! This will help Gainesville become a leader in reducing CO2 but also the cost of road repairs leaving more tax money for pet political projects! Tell drivers they don’t belong in Gainesville & stay the H**L away! Post road signs that vehicles feed capitalism & must be abandoned to achieve WOKE!
