One person trauma-alerted after single-vehicle accident on Hawthorne Road

Press release from Alachua County Fire Rescue
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – At 7:54 a.m. today, units from Alachua County Fire Rescue and Gainesville Fire Rescue were dispatched to a report of a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hawthorne Road and SE 43rd Street.
Crews arrived to find a vehicle overturned in the woods on the south side of Hawthorne Road, sitting on its roof with heavy damage. The driver of the vehicle was entrapped and had to be extricated using hydraulic cutters and spreaders (the Jaws of Life).
The driver was quickly removed from the vehicle and transported to the ER as a trauma alert. The vehicle struck a large pole prior to flipping, which ripped the passenger side off. Fortunately, there was no one else in the vehicle other than the driver.

That person must have been traveling fast.
Looks to be a white Chevy Camaro.
I call dips on the engine!
