Jahreem Terrence Iles, 31, has been arrested in connection with the murder of Kurry Jackson on July 13, 2020, at the Days Inn on SW 13th Street.

The investigation found that Iles drove Tyron Miller from Orlando to Gainesville that evening for the purpose of buying drugs from Jackson, but when they arrived, Miller allegedly tried to rob Jackson, and Jackson was shot.

Iles was formally charged with robbery with a firearm in May, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He is being held on $250,000 bond.

Tyron Antwon Miller, 26, also of Orlando, was arrested in April of 2021 and is being held without bail on charges of felony murder, attempted armed robbery, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Cornelius Tray Boone, 26, of Gainesville, was arrested in April and is being held on $500,000 bond on an armed robbery charge in the same case. Boone allegedly provided the introduction between Iles, Miller, and Jackson.

Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
