Quality Plumbing announces first new President since the company’s founding in 1984

Press release from Quality Plumbing

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Bryan Nazworth, President of Quality Plumbing, has announced that he will step into a new role for the first time since he founded the company in 1984. Nazworth’s new title will be Founder & CEO, and son Preston Nazworth will become the new President of Quality Plumbing, Inc. of Gainesville.

“After years of preparing for this changeover, I am excited that the time came as we celebrate our 40th year in business. I am also grateful to have been able to grow a local business to support my family, our employees, and the community for four decades,” said Bryan. “I have seen the growth in Preston as a tradesman and a leader over the years and feel very confident and proud to be able to step aside and let him take the helm.”

Preston has worked in the company in a variety of roles over the past 20 years, learning the family business from the ground up and most recently serving as Executive Vice President of the company’s multi-family division. He is a graduate of Bradford High School and the University of Florida and is a Florida State Certified Plumbing Contractor. Preston is actively involved with many local charitable and non-profit organizations that the company supports and has been a member of Business Network International (BNI) since 2015.

“I consider it an honor and a privilege to be in a position to carry on my family’s legacy of serving the community through the services we provide,” said Preston. “I hope by bringing some of my own knowledge and experience to the firm foundation already established by my dad, mom, and uncle in their roles with the company, I will continue to enhance the culture of our staff and service provided to our customers.”

Preston’s mother Angie Nazworth serves as the company’s CFO, and uncle Frank Andrews, celebrating his 30th year with the company, serves as COO and oversees the service division. Bryan will continue to be involved with the company in his advisory role as CEO and will also continue working alongside daughter Heather Nazworth Stephens at their design and build company, Quality DesignWorks.

“While I do plan to enjoy more leisure time, stepping aside is not the same thing as stepping away,” said Bryan. “It’s a necessary progression of good leadership to evolve, and I’m just fortunate that we are in a position to remain family-owned and -operated businesses.”

Also this year, in the centennial year of the Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce, Quality Plumbing will be recognized for their 25 years of membership. Quality Plumbing started with just two employees in 1984 and now maintains a staff of over 75, a true community-grown business. Its residential and commercial service divisions are committed to courteous, prompt, and efficient service at a fair price. These are the principles on which the company was built and continues to operate. In addition, the multi-family and new construction divisions work with contractors throughout the state in the development of multi-family luxury apartments, student housing, and mixed-use development projects, as well as a variety of institutional projects including healthcare, education, municipal, hospitality, retail, and sports facilities. Visit quality-plumbing.com for more information.
