GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Rep. Kat Cammack and her husband Matt have announced the birth of Augusta Dair, born August 14 at 7 lbs, 15 oz., and 20.5 inches.
In the announcement, Rep. Cammack said she had “a very tough and long labor” and thanked “the most incredible team of doctors and nurses that saw us through a very tough and emotional six days.” Baby Augusta is “doing great and already showing us her sweet and sassy personality,” and Rep. Cammack said she is “speedily recovering.”

Congratulations. I don’t always agree with your politics but God bless your little one!
Congratulations I’m glad you’re OK and your baby’s OK and she’s beautiful.
Welcome, little one! Babies are such a blessing!
Congratulations! An orthodox Jew once told me – upon seeing our 1st born – that they especially celebrated each birth, because each baby might be the Messiah. Nice idea, but a long and loving productive life is a good enough wish in my book and is also our hope for the future, and so here’s to Augusta!
Congratulations, Kat!! You will be a great Mom.
