Restaurant employee arrested for stealing bank deposits
Staff report
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Amy Lyn Davis, 47, of Chiefland, was arrested yesterday for allegedly failing to make six bank deposits for Perkins Restaurant and keeping $3,884.05 for herself.
A Gainesville Police Department officer reported that the restaurant provided video of Davis leaving the business with the deposits on April 17, April 20, and April 24, and the restaurant said that a total of six deposits between April 16 and April 24, totaling $3,884.05, were never deposited.
Davis has been charged with grand theft. She has no criminal convictions, and Judge William Davis ordered her released on her own recognizance.
Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

I’m thinking RoR for grand theft will give her some time to spend some of that money before her trial.
Is anyone having a problem that the comments section is not loading? The comments section popped up this time, but not for the other articles …..been having issues the last couple days..
Seems to be on press releases. Especially political ones.
I think it was my safari browser, Google seems to be working..
Usual suspects
No problem….she can come work (steal) from the City of Gville. They don’t check criminal background checks and feel it’s OK to steal from the taxpayers as they do it all the time anyway.
