Rollover on I-75 sends driver to the hospital

Press release from Alachua County Fire Rescue
At 1:00 p.m. today, units from Alachua County Fire Rescue and Gainesville Fire Rescue were dispatched to a vehicle accident with entrapment on Interstate 75 southbound at the 386 mile marker, which is one mile south of the Newberry Road interchange.
Upon arrival, units found a large pickup truck towing a fifth wheel travel trailer that had left the highway and rolled onto its side, trapping the driver in the vehicle. Units utilized the “Jaws of Life” to cut the cab of the pickup truck in order to access the driver.
The driver was transported to UF Health Gainesville with serious, non-life threatening injuries. Alachua County Fire Rescue would like to remind you to pay attention on the road this holiday season, especially in heavy traffic conditions, and please move over for stopped emergency vehicles on the shoulder.

I’m wondering when Poe & his jesters are going to call for speed tables on I-75, or better yet, to remove that part of the interstate from Gainesville.
That’s what I expect from those pea-brained knuckleheads.
