Santa Fe College president responds to Cornell

Press release from Santa Fe College
Santa Fe College today released the following statement from SF President Paul Broadie II, Ph.D:
Dear Chair Cornell:
In response to your letter of September 9th requesting that Santa Fe College seriously consider implementation of indoor masking requirements, please rest assured that we have implemented many protective measures including making masks widely available and providing them to employees, students, and guests. Soon, in addition to the various measures we have taken, we will be introducing a vaccine incentive program coupled with an informational campaign.
As we are unable to take the actions recommended in your letter, we will continue to work to protect the health and safety of our students and employees. However, we would also be interested in collaborating with local government, the University of Florida, and others to implement strategies to help to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and its variants.
We look forward to continued collaboration in addressing issues related to our community.
Best regards,
Paul
Common sense prevails, Imagine that!
He likes his job…paycheck.
Usually college people know how to use and change or clean masks, and where. It’s a case of barking up the wrong tree, as usual.
I’m a little confused about what’s being said here. Is it basically “screw you, we’re not gonna do that”? Or is it “*We* won’t do it, but we’re happy to help you put the boot to the neck of others?
It’s “Desantis is the boss on this one with his executive order”…not the commie city & county tyrants
On the face mask issue. Also, you can make your own
Medical decisions if you need the mask or jab. Brodie understands people’s constitutional rights…it’s probably
Why they chose him to be SF president…good job Brodie!
