Security guard arrested for threatening man with gun

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Ryan Jeffrey Hamilton-Tacinelli, 23, was arrested early this morning on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly pointing a gun at a man.
The victim reported that he was on the phone at Gainesville Place Apartments when Hamilton-Tacinelli threatened to shoot him in the face and then pointed a firearm at him. He said that Hamilton-Tacinelli then drove away in his marked security vehicle. The responding Gainesville Police Department officer reported that the person on the phone with the victim heard the altercation and corroborated the victim’s account.
The officer also reported finding a firearm under a shirt on the back seat of Hamilton-Tacinelli’s personal vehicle.
Post Miranda, Hamilton-Tacinelli denied threatening or pointing a gun at the victim but said he has a firearm that he keeps in his car. Hamilton-Tacinelli has no criminal history and has been released on $2,000 bond.
