Server migration may cause downtime

UPDATE: We have encountered some issues in the server migration, and content may be inconsistent until it is sorted out. So you may see an article that later disappears and then comes back, and comments may also disappear (we don’t know whether they will be recovered or not). We value your comments, so you may want to wait another day or so to post comments so those comments do not get lost. We appreciate your patience as this goes on much longer than we’d hoped!

Our hosting company is migrating the site to a new server, there may be some downtime during the transition, and we have no control over when it will happen or how long it will take, but we don’t want you to be concerned; this is planned, and we’ll be back as soon as possible.

This may also affect the newsletters, and if one is skipped, we’ll send a replacement out when we can.
