Sheriff’s Office investigating shooting death of 16-year-old girl in Palms of Archer over the weekend

On June 5, 2022, at 2:17 a.m., deputies from the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Palms of Archer Mobile Home Park in reference to a shooting. Deputies located a 16-year-old victim who was transported to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries.

The palms of Archer are on the fringes of Gainesville on Archer Road right across from tower road publix . Saying this was in Archer is misleading
