SONIC’s new Reitz Union location will hold a Grand Opening on October 28

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — SONIC today announced it will host the grand opening of its newest Gainesville location on Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The new SONIC is located at the University of Florida’s Reitz Union at 655 Reitz Union Drive. During the celebration, guests will be able to spin the prize wheel for a chance to win exclusive SONIC-branded swag, while supplies last, no purchase necessary.
At 1:30 p.m., the University of Florida and its foodservice partner Florida Fresh Dining, part of Chartwells Higher Education, will kick off the grand opening with an official ribbon-cutting.
The restaurant is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Guests can place their orders at the counter, through a kiosk, or via Transact Mobile Ordering. The full menu offered at the new location can be found here.
