Supervisor of Elections Kim A. Barton joins Florida Supervisors of Elections Board of Directors

Alachua County Supervisor of Elections Kim A. Barton joined the Board of Directors of the Florida Supervisors of Elections (FSE), the statewide organization for Florida’s elections officials.

Barton will represent the association’s District Four, which includes Marion, Putnam, Levy, Dixie, Gilchrist, Columbia, and Alachua counties.

As a member of the board of directors, Barton will play a key role in working with fellow elections officials and other stakeholders to advocate for the elections community at the state level. Barton, who has served as Alachua County Supervisor of Elections since January 2017, also serves on FSE’s education and ERIC (Electronic Registration Information Center) implementation committees. She is the past chair of the association’s scholarship committee.
