Supervisor of Elections Office to do outreach at multiple events in Alachua County

Press release from the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – Next week, the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections Office will be participating in several voter outreach events across Alachua County.

On Monday, April 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., our office will be speaking at a Democratic Women’s Club meeting at Congregation B’Nai Israel in Gainesville. Attendees will learn about changes to Florida election law and have an opportunity to register to vote, request a vote-by-mail ballot, and ask questions about upcoming elections.

On Tuesday, April 21, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., our office will be staffing a table at the Friends of the Library Book Sale. The sale is taking place at 430-B N. Main Street in Gainesville. Our table will be right next to the parking lot on the sidewalk by Main Street. Attendees will be able to learn more about elections in Alachua County, including the 2026 Primary and General Elections, and will be able to register to vote or update their voter registration and request a vote-by-mail ballot or renew their existing request.

On Wednesday, April 22, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., our office will be staffing a table at the Reentry Partnership Initiative Resource Launching Pad. The event will take place at the Santa Fe College Blount Center in Gainesville. Attendees will be able to learn more about elections in Alachua County, including the 2026 Primary and General Elections, and will be able to register to vote or update their voter registration and request a vote-by-mail ballot or renew their existing request.

Finally, on Saturday, April 25, our office will be present with a table at the 5th Avenue Arts Festival in Gainesville, right outside the Santa Fe College Blount Center. Attendees can register to vote or update their voter registration, request a vote-by-mail ballot or renew their request, and learn more about elections in 2026.

  • Hopefully they will also educate them on the tax and spend habits and related fiscal incompetence of the locally elected leadership.

  • Probably just coincidental (sic) ut Alachua County covers a very large area and these 4 outreaches are all in close proximity to central Gainesville proper. Does the rest of the county get any “outreach”?
