Supervisor of Elections Office to do outreach at naturalization ceremony and the Village at Gainesville this week

Press release from the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections
ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – This week, the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections Office will be participating in several voter outreach events across Alachua County.
On Wednesday, February 18, the office will be assisting newly naturalized citizens with registering to vote at the Naturalization Ceremony taking place in Gainesville.
The ceremony will be held at the United States District Court Northern Florida District Courthouse in Gainesville from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The courthouse is located at 401 SE 1st Avenue in Gainesville. In addition to registering to vote, newly naturalized citizens will be given an opportunity to learn about the voting and elections process in Florida and Alachua County.
On Thursday, February 19, the office will be staffing a table and speaking at the Village at Gainesville (CenterPoint Building) on February 19. Residents and staff will learn about elections in 2026 and will have an opportunity to register to vote or update their voter registration and request a vote-by-mail ballot or renew their request.

Wonder what the ratio of Democrat vs. Republican registrations will be?
Is this the same Supervisor of Elections who sued a polling place (church) while performing the duties of her office? Where she supposedly injured herself (due to her own negligence) but sued the church instead of using Workman’s Compensation? The results of her inappropriate actions were to lose multiple other polling places as well as the one where she supposedly ‘tripped’.
Question. Does the County Supervisor of Election have to right to enter a Federal Building and set of shop during a official Federal Ceremony. I could see if they were staffing a table outside of the Federal Courthouse but inside that is Federal property and Federal business only.
Please don’t let Kim Barton waddle around in high heels while she is recruiting Democratic Party ballot box stuffers and vote harvesters–we can’t afford another lawsuit!
Just cut some strips of old tires and glue them directly to her hooves.
