BY JENNIFER CABRERA

Alexis Marie Fulford, 25, Andrew Michael Fulford, Jr., 27, and Jeremy Marcus Dewayne Rowe, 31, were arrested early this morning on various charges relating to an incident in which a man was robbed and left on the side of the road.

According to the arrest reports, the victim told deputies that Alexis Fulford was supposed to drive him to get food, but she stopped on the side of the roadway in the vicinity of 10500 US 441 S and told him to get out of the vehicle. When he exited the vehicle, Andrew Fulford and Rowe allegedly also got out of the vehicle and quickly walked toward him in an aggressive manner, so the victim tried to run to a nearby house for help. Rowe allegedly tackled the victim to the ground and punched him in the face. The victim said that Andrew Fulford held him down while Rowe emptied his pockets. Alexis Fulford then allegedly drove Andrew Fulford and Rowe away from where they had stopped.

The victim said his phone and wallet were stolen; the wallet held a debit card, his driver’s license, and $140 cash.

Deputies later found the vehicle, with all three defendants, in the 700 block of SW 67th Terrace. The victim’s phone was found in the vehicle, and his debit card was found in Alexis Fulford’s wallet.

Alexis Fulford was in possession of methamphetamine; she has been charged with robbery without a weapon, unlawful possession of personal identification information, possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy to commit robbery, and obstructing justice by depriving the victim of the ability to call 911. She is on probation from a 2020 case in which she was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card and adjudication was withheld. She is being held on $195,000 bond.

Cocaine was found in Andrew Fulford’s clothing when he was searched at the Alachua County Jail. He has been charged with robbery without a weapon, possession of cocaine, conspiracy to commit robbery, obstructing justice, and introducing contraband into a secure detention facility. He was released from Department of Corrections in November 2021 after serving a 3-year sentence on a charge of grand theft of a motor vehicle. He is being held on $150,000 bond.

Rowe has been charged with robbery without a weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, and obstructing justice. He is being held on $155,000 bond.

Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • Is Rowe not going to be charged with assault? Battery? Punching someone in the face should result in some kind of charge, I sure hope!

  • Throw the book at these scumbags. Their a danger to society and have forfeited their right to live in it. I hope some bleeding heart Judge doesn’t let them off.
