Traffic shift planned for NW 39th Avenue this weekend

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – FDOT is planning a traffic shift on eastbound NW 39^th Avenue (State Road 222) between NW 57^th Terrace and NW 53^rd Street from Friday, Mar. 14, at 8 p.m. to Monday, Mar. 17, at 6:30 a.m., weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. Eastbound traffic will be shifted to the inside lane of the roadway while crews perform pavement repair operations in the outside lane and paved shoulder. The bicycle lane on NW 39^th Avenue will be temporarily closed, and bicyclists will use the inside travel lane until the work is completed and the bicycle lane is restored.
