Train hits log truck on 301

According to a press release from Florida Highway Patrol, a train hit the trailer of a log truck this afternoon.

At about 2:27 p.m., a log truck was stopped at a stop sign on SE 122nd Lane where it intersects U.S. 301, facing east. While the truck was stopped, a portion of the its load (logs) was partially obstructing a railroad track. A train with 160 cars, moving north, struck the truck’s load, causing the trailer to overturn. No injuries were reported, and the scene has been cleared.
