August 4, 2024
Press release from High Springs Police Department
HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. – While on a downed-tree service call during the rain bands of Tropical Storm Debby, another tree fell on an occupied police vehicle. Fortunately, the officer did not sustain any injuries. A third tree fell in the area without incident.
Officers are trained to park strategically, but there were too many trees in the area.
Stay alert and safe.
Oh no…glad no injuries.
GEEZ DH,
How can you say, “glad no injuries”, when clearly the tree was injured!!!! This is the tree capital of the world, and you are worried about human life and totally neglect the soul and spirit of the tree. DH you are not woke enough to live in Alachua County and you need to move immediately. Yes, yes, yes, I know we burn trees to make power, but we all agreed to overlook that and never to mention the fact we cut down trees to burn them so our light switch works.
Whine away.
Hey Homer,
Last time I had this much whine I had to take your wife’s panties back to her.
Thank God no one was hurt.
