Trenton woman arrested for calling 911 to get a ride 14 times and then hitting deputy
Staff report
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Baylee Jordan Graham, 30, was arrested early this morning after allegedly calling 911 for a ride 14 times and then hitting and threatening to kill a deputy.
At about 1:35 a.m. on November 11, an Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a request for a female deputy at McDonald’s (9620 NW 39th Avenue); when she arrived, deputies at the scene told her a woman had gone into the bathroom at the restaurant, had refused to come out, and had provided a false name to deputies.
The deputy reported that she charged Graham’s phone so she could call for a ride and let Graham sit in her patrol vehicle with the door open after the phone was charged; she said she told Graham she was not detained and was free to leave at any time.
A short time after Graham got out of the patrol vehicle and walked away from the area, she allegedly called 911 and said she was at the Circle K and needed a ride. The same deputy responded and told Graham she would need to identify herself before she could consider giving her a ride. Graham reportedly refused, the deputy left the area, and Graham allegedly called 911 again. The deputy returned to the Circle K and reportedly told Graham it was a criminal offense to call 911 without an emergency.
A short time later, the deputy saw Graham on her phone in the parking lot, and a dispatcher told the deputy that Graham had again called 911. The deputy reported that Graham walked away from her patrol vehicle, still on the phone with 911, and the deputy told her to stop. The deputy noted that at this point, she had spoken with Graham three times within a short period of time.
Graham allegedly walked away again, ignoring commands to stop, and the deputy reportedly grabbed her arm; Graham allegedly turned and hit the deputy in the face, saying, “Do not touch me” and “Get your hands off me.”
After additional deputies arrived to assist, Graham was placed in handcuffs but allegedly resisted being placed in the patrol car and used her foot to prevent the door from closing.
While driving Graham to the jail, the deputy reported that she heard Graham say something about not being prepared; when she asked her what she meant, Graham reportedly said, “In any other situation, I would have probably killed you.”
The deputy reported that Graham called 911 a total of 14 times.
Graham, whose listed address is in Trenton, has been charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer without violence, and misuse of 911 services. She has no local criminal history, but she has two arrests for battery in Levy County; both charges were later dropped. Judge Denise Ferrero set bail at $35,000.
Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Such people should not be allowed to have phones.
She sounds like she was on drugs and out of her mind and calling 911 for help is why this makes no sense…
Should she have been baker acted instead of arrested?
Perhaps she could have been if all she did was false 911 calls but after the battery on leo she has to be taken to jail for the felony. Maybe at the jail she was baker acted.
