The Kia drove into the path of the Toyota, was hit by the Toyota, and overturned onto its roof in the southbound left turn lane on NW 51st Street.
The Kia’s driver and the 43-year-old female passenger, also from Lynchburg, were transported to a local hospital. The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
Must be a slow news day to report a accident from 6 days ago.
Several people asked us for information about this crash; it took this long to get the release from Florida Highway Patrol.
Thanks Jennifer for this story. My husband and I came upon this accident right after it happened. All law enforcement companies were represented as well as AFR. They functioned as a well oiled machine. The injured were transported quickly to the hospital and traffic movement was restored in less than 1 hour. Great job!
I also love the detail in your report.
Thanks Jennifer for the update! That accident really affected us last week.
