      • How could you even be such an idiot to even suspect without knowing about a car seat? Car seats are built for any vehicle. You’re a demon walking on earth. Lord bless the family of both parties and this A.H who wrote this

        • Your a devil on earth – it has been reported and confirmed they were NOT in car seats.

          • Thats irresponsible and crazy .Poor babies .There going to jail and lost both kids .Wow .

        • Yea but he’s 100% correct. Remember – stereotypes exist for a reason. There is factual credibility and data to support them. ….unfortunately.

    • That intersection is badly designed– too small for the traffic flow that uses it, lights timed badly, four lanes merging down to two just west of it, and new businesses starting to crop up all around.

I’m surprised there aren’t more serious accidents there. Prayers for the people involved in this one.

      • That bs bank building at williston an Fred bear.. that’s gonna be a traffic nightmare. Of all the stupidity I’ve seen with growth, this one is gonna be unreal for the residents in Gainesville golf and country, people coming off the interstate/westbound traffic

      • I use that intersection all time to get on I-75 N. It works fine. My guess is the dude was trying to get on interstate

        • *based on what was blocked off and the position of the cars when I drove by

    • No. I’ve seen other reports on this terrible tragedy, and neither child was in a car seat.

  • I see kids in front seats hanging on the dash on Hawthorne road all the time………. Wonder if there is a connection here.

  • Since the children were not in car seats is the driver responsible for that going to be charged with child endangerment and neglect and homicide/manslaughter? Follow-up article?

  • Tragic, but likely avoidable. When is the Go-Fund-Me page for child car seats going up?

  • The two little ones are safe in the arms of Jesus, my prayers for all those left behind.

      • The one and only Jesus, isn’t woke and is every where. I pray you find him, one day.
