I saw at one of their stupid meetings the white and proud idiot stated “our energy is more “renewable” than others in the state and there’s a cost to that”. Fact is burning 75-150 tractor trailer loads of trees per day cut down only for your plant not only puts tons of carbon, heat, and particles in the air while removing the very thing that sucks in CO2 and turns it into oxygen, it also burns tons of gas for the trucks coming and going hauling all of the trees. Saying that the process is “renewable” is like saying I’m doing good for the environment by drinking beer, because the aluminum cans are recyclable.
