Updates:
- The Gainesville Regional Utilities Authority Special Meeting scheduled for this Wednesday has been rescheduled to June 10, 2024.
- There will be a Written Evaluation – RFP Professional Auditing Services for General Government held on June 5 at 9:00 a.m. at City Hall.
I am surprised Jazzman (Eastman) has not posted yet about how this rescheduling is a Trump/Desantis ploy to cover up something.
It was plainly clear the Ed had an ambush agenda in the meeting on June 10th. He came in with material he didn’t share, cut off anyone who disagreed with him, and refused to accept that much of his information was out of date. His agenda is based upon revenge for being fired in the past. His appointment as chair was orchestrated by his puppet masters in Tallahassee, (albeit the board is much better than the city commission oversight), and they knew he was willing to burn everything down to placate his hurt ego.
The attempt to fire the general manager was plainly an power grab by Ed to weasel back into the position he lost.
You can’t spell VENDETTA without ED, but you definitely can spell UTILITY without ED.
Maybe it needs to stay that way.
