Is the City Hall building painted Confederate gray to honor Gainesville’s heritage as part of the Confederacy? It seems like something that should be changed. It could gain some national attention if they painted City Hall like an LGBTQ rainbow. It couldn’t look any worse than it does now. If I were a person of color, that Confederate gray color might be just a little bit offensive to me. Maybe the Dems use it to maintain fear and old memories.
It’s battleship grey. Just needs a big white number painted, maybe the street number?
