Updated draft school zone boundary maps released

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – Alachua County Public Schools has released new draft school zone boundary maps. The maps will be discussed at a workshop on February 26 at 6 p.m.; there is also a regular School Board meeting at 6 p.m. on March 3, and a vote on the maps is scheduled for March 12.

  • Wake up people! – this is a rezoning and elementary school closing plan. It will happen quickly and there’s very little you can do about it, unless you speak up NOW!!
