Video: Non-custodial father from Jacksonville arrested for abducting his son

HAWTHORNE, Fla. – Ali Xavier Scarborough, 26, of Jacksonville, was arrested yesterday and charged with interfering with the custody of a minor after allegedly taking his son without consent from the custodial parent.
On April 23, Alachua County received a BOLO (Be On the Look Out) from the Ocala Police Department for Scarborough, who had allegedly taken his juvenile son from his maternal grandmother without consent and fled in a blue Jeep SUV; he was believed to be traveling north on U.S. Hwy 301.
An Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy saw a similar vehicle driving northbound in the 800 block of NE U.S. Hwy 301 in Hawthorne and checked the tag. As the deputy followed, the SUV made a U-turn and then turned onto NE 78th Place, a dirt road. The deputy drove slowly down the road and saw the SUV in a private driveway. While the deputy waited for backup to arrive, the SUV drove back toward his patrol vehicle. After more deputies arrived, Scarborough was ordered to get out of the vehicle and was taken into custody.

The child was found unharmed in Scarborough’s vehicle; he was reportedly uninjured and was not emotionally distressed.
The arresting deputy noted that under a court order, Scarborough has no custodial rights to his son.
Scarborough has been charged with interfering with the custody of a minor. He has no criminal convictions but has an active felony warrant, according to a court document. Judge Kristine Van Vorst set bail at $150,000 and ordered that he be fitted with a GPS monitor.

Yes, yes he was just trying to simply get his son. There is no custody agreement in place between him and the mother a petition for support is not a custody agreement and that is all she has simply sick. Pathological liar is what she is. He has not lost his rights. They have no custody agreement in place and the mother simply said that the child stays with him less than he does her and that’s not true, which is why he has non-custodial parent. The felony warrant is for interfering with custody of a minor. Previous absolutely nothing other than a couple tickets under his belt. Has never been in trouble before the warrant was issued from the Ocala Police Department. After he picked up his son.

The bail is ridiculous outrageous the most outlandish thing that man has ever done is got a speeding ticket mind you he was simply trying to see his son because that white was taken away from him, not by the court, not by the court order, not by a custody agreement by that child’s mother because she Spiteful. Custodial rights can ONLY be taken from a biological parent by a court, or surrendered by that parent. What about that outstanding felony warrant? Is that someone’s imagination too?
As someone who was very close in relation to Ali in the past he deserves to be in jail. Whoever you are defending him is lying. I remember him telling me he had to go to court over his oldest son out of the three he has. He stated that they were on a custody battle over abuse allegations. Ali lost custody and gabby was given all rights to their child. Ali has a long history of being abusive and out of control with his anger. I have closely known him and his family and before any of his 3 baby mommas came into the picture he was already showing signs of having deep mental problems. He lashed out on his family friends and everyone he was around. He would tell me and others gabby was abusive to their son and he was gonna take him away from her but untimately that was not true. I don’t know if gabby or his other baby mothers experience abuse but he has a strong history of it. No man is normal if he’s willing to hold down a women and choke her out while telling her how he could kill her. And that’s from my experience with him. He should not have any access to children point blank

His son told him he saved him and thanked his father!!!!! That came out of the mouth of a five-year-old boy that has not seen his dad in almost 2 months out of spite and neglect from his mother.
There’s no custody agreement in place his mother abandoned their child in Ocala with the grandparents for almost 2 months giving the father no contact no updates no nothing. Up until this point he had his son every Thursday through Sunday returning his son Monday mornings for almost 2 years, made all his child support payments and even picked up their son when she had work trips was sick or overall needed help . The mother of their son is a pathological, liar and needs serious help I want to court order showing that he has no rights to his child because it doesn’t exist. A petition for Support is not a custody agreement.

Little did he know. He’s would have had to going to feed that kid. Clothed him. Take care of his medical care. And million other expenses. Put his life on hold. After a couple of months of that, he would have takeen him back to grandmom.
Hoyt at least he tried to step up and do what was best for his son, the mother is probably laid up with another man trying to make another baby and it is wrong for abandonment and the grandparents should have stepped in and told her that, there’s not too many men that want to step up and take care of their children so I don’t understand what’s going on with all that and then they set a bill so high to where he can’t afford it that’s wrong too and I think the judge is biased

As soon as he took his child, Ocala put out a warrant for his arrest. It was nothing previous to this event. Anything he’s ever gotten in trouble any warrant that is out has to do with this previously all he had was a couple speeding tickets.

He ran into a restaurant with a hoodie on and snatched his child. When the grandmother tried to stop him, he shoved her to the ground. He then went on a high speed chase with the child in the car unbuckled. People need to tell the truth of the story and stop scamming for the GoFund me page.

Show us the proof of a court order showing he has no custodial rights or proof that there’s a court order no contact!
