Virtual State of the City 2021

Press release from City of Gainesville
The City of Gainesville is premiering its virtual 2021 State of the City Address at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24 on the City of Gainesville Facebook page, its website, and Community 12TV (Cox channel 12). The annual tradition, which began in 2005, is an opportunity for city leaders and elected officials to celebrate our community, recognize recent accomplishments, and identify challenges as we work to make Gainesville an equitable community for all.
This year, the keynote will be presented in video format and will feature appearances from each member of the City Commission, community leaders, community builders, and our neighbors.

I wonder if they will address the bum issue in the city…I had to ask one to leave the front porch of
My property by UF yesterday….he said he “thought
It was ok”…I photographed him and he left…i’m
Real tired of picking up the trash they leave behind…
Will their virtual state of the city show the panhandlers in intersections??? Will they show
Ray Washington getting arrested for not wearing a mask
At a city meeting to keep us all in line?
F U B A R…that is the state of the city. That’s what comes from inept, fiscally irresponsible, draconian leadership.
